Graphic Tees
A number of apparel designs I created for employers, family, friends and some just for fun are detailed here. All shirt designs include original illustrative graphics or drawings paired with customized typography and carefully refined color palettes.
This idea of never stopping forward progress permeates at M Drive. I created this illustrative graphic of a shark swimming in shallow waters, subtly layered with a motivating tagline.
I created a giveaway tee for an employee appreciation off-site event. I conducted internal research to gauge interest on what content folks would actually wear. Using feedback during design iteration, I finalized this illustration featuring Minneapolis' skyline and best-loved landmarks. The shirts were a massive hit, with some wearing them outside of the office being asked where they could be bought.
This fun and modern illustration was inspired by my obsession with letterspacing and getting that balance just right in layout designs. I sketched a few angles and digitized my favorite, then paired with bold fat type for strong contrast and vivid colorways.
Some shirts I designed for family and friends including a Jameson stylized graphic memorializing a great man, and a lively tee design for a local brewery.
I designed and illustrated this tee as swag for employees and visitors at Bestway USA, featuring the eponymous Camelback mountain with a cowboy in the foreground wrangling their popular unicorn pool float. Classic American typography rounds out the design to drive the southwestern motif home.
