Herbivorous Hobbit is an app for organizing the users' favorite vegetarian recipes, adding recipes to a dynamic shopping list, and finding recipes based on cuisine and primary protein source. I designed the user interface in Adobe XD after defining the brand from scratch, identifying an appetizing color palette and gourmand-friendly typefaces. To populate the content I created an editable database of recipes, making it easy for users to add new content.
I also created an icon set and fun illustrations to liven up the interface, all of which take influence from Tolkien lore.
